replacing the thin brass plate for the Carronade Options

hello there
I messed up marking and cutting the thin brass plate for the first carronade
gun and would like to know is it critical that the thin plate has to be .010 thin sheet can I use a another size thin strip reason I ask is I am having a hard time finding the correct size to replace the messed up one that came in the carronade kit and suggestions would helpful, PS also would like to point out that there is mistake on the instructions page 25 part 2 of my instructions says follow the diagrams at the top of page 24 it is not page 24 but page 26 is where the diagram is

Hi Ronald, you could always contact CS and ask for a replacement pack/stage 3 to be sent to you, (the pack/stage that contains the carronade). That way you would have the correct parts.

Ok Alan thanks if I decide to buy more but would you know the width of the thin brass plate used in the carronade kit if I decide to go just make the part I need rather to buy a another carronade kit

Unfortunately I don't have the width of the brass plate to hand but you do get a second carronade later in the build where you can take the dimensions from. Also, you may have messed up on the brass plate you received but you can still measure the width of it even though you can't use it... Cool Cool

unfortunly I can not find it while I was trying to lift it off the double sided tape it went flying, if anyone still has the kit and not mounted on the model yet could you tell me the width thank you

As said, you can always get the measurements from the second carronade kit when received....
