Well, halfway through another week and I expect to pick up issue 69 from my newsagent some time today?? With the benefit of being well behind with your build is seeing where problems have arisen and how our fellow shipmates have got around them? I have just looked at Issue 49 and it is covering the fitting of the gratings, cannon balls and the rigging of the cannon and their installation in the next issue? Now, I have been giving this some thought.(noticing the smell of burning??)..and that concerns the idea of turning the model keel up in order to paint the hull. It is with fitting and rigging the cannon and other tasks...then the dreaded thoughts of pieces of cannon, ect coming adrift while the model is inverted??? So, I am considering giving the hull a final once over with sand paper then fitting the rudder and copper painting the hull before continuing with the installation of other parts...So, onward we go, and having put the gratings together, here is where I am up to at the present... Now, none of the above parts have been fitted into place, I will concentrate on putting the rudder assembly together next and giving the hull it's final inspection before going ahead with the copper painting...So, until my next posting, happy building shipmates...

Jonny.
Nice looking grates you have there.
I to wish i had checked ahead more before fitting the grates and cannons before turning her over again. But hey, you live and learn.
Nice build and keep up the great work.
