This past week as seen some rather winterish weather here in the UK and we got a fair share of the white stuff and the minus temps..

Due to a few family issues i decided to make a temp work area in the back bedroom with a piece of left over ply and some 34mm x 34mm timber.
I just cut the timber length of the ply drew a line length ways on the ply and screwed the ply to the timber.
I then sat the ply on an old work mate and tightened it..

Holds a treat until i get sorted..

Always good to have a work area you don't have to pack away at the end of each build session... Look nice and tidy just now but, will it stay that way....BigGrin BigGrin … Looks good...

Didnt take long to get cluttered and believe me when i say the pic shows the area tidy..

Infact the area was cluttered within the hr.

Had to take the cls timber back today every was warped once i slit the pack infact so where so bowed you vould have run a pig through the gap when you put two together

Looks a darn sight clearer than my workroom (currently undergoing yet another re-organising!)
By the way, "I then sat the ply on an old work mate and tightened it.."
Didn't your old work mate mind?LOL

Doesn't take long at all for a workspace to become cluttered, especially when building ships. I tend to have a clear up after every build session although can't say I'm terribly disciplined on that front....Blink Blink

Regarding your build, have serious reservations regarding your build jig as I don't see any longitudinal support without which you could still end up with a banana boat. You may find this topic useful in ensuring your build jig is appropriate....
