Fit one of the corner plates into the corner of the crane top plate and fix in place with two screws from the opposite side of the crane top plate. Then install the rest of the corner plates in the same way. Glue one of the struts in place by inserting the pins into the corresponding holes in the top plate and then fit the other three struts in the same way. Note: Subframe 1 has two small holes through it, also note that subframe 1 and subframes 2 have inner and outer sides. Assemble them so that the flat sides of the claws at both ends are on the outside. Holding the main frame R, insert the end of subframe 1 into the upper hole with the inner side facing away from you. Then insert a subframe 2 into the hole at the bottom of main frame R, below subframe 1. Now making sure you have the correct orientation fit the remaining subframes 2 to the rear holes of mainframe R.
Position the four ends of the subframes into the corresponding holes in main frame L. Now turn the assembly on its side so that main frame L is on the table and carefully push the ends of the subframes into the holes.
Pass one of the crane shafts into a hole in a main frame and secure the shaft in place with one of the shaft screws. Then fit the other shafts in place and secure with screws in the same way.

Parts Supplied: Shaft cover, Shaft unit 1 - 3, Top plates 1, Top plates 2 - 4, Top plates 5 - 8 (on a fret), Magnet, Shaft.
Retrieve the crane top plate from stage 91 and glue the shaft cover over the centre of the crane top plate. Turn the top plate over and glue a top plate part 1 into place, followed by the remaining three parts 1.
Glue top plate parts 2 and 3 together and then glue top plate part 4 into the other end of part 2. Now glue top plate part 5 into the hole in part 4. Make a second assembly by gluing top plate part 8 into top plate part 6. Press the magnet into the top of shaft unit 1, noting that the magnet will protrude slightly from the top of the unit. Glue shaft unit 3 onto the top of shaft unit 1 to retain the magnet and glue shaft unit 2 into the base of shaft unit 1 making sure it fully engages into the slots.
Now pass the wide end of the shaft up the centre of shaft unit 1 until it engages the magnet. Then insert the thin end of the shaft into the hole in the centre of the crane top plate and glue unit 1 to the top plate making sure that the notch is engaged to get the correct orientation of the parts. Check now that the shaft can slide in and out to test its movement.
Glue the larger assembly from earlier onto the top plate followed by the smaller one and then finally glue top plate part 7 to the top plate, noting that it has a D shaped hole to fit into, so you get the correct orientation of the part.
Explosive Tractor
Parts Supplied: Wheels A (on a fret), Wheels B (on a fret), Front wheels (on a fret), Chassis, Tracks, Axles, Front tracks (outer), Front tracks (inner), Front tracks.
Remove the drive wheel parts A and parts B from their fret and carefully remove any burrs. To make the drive wheels glue each drive wheel A into a drive wheel B. Now make the six sets of wheels from the A and B parts in the same way.
Insert one of the axles into a drive wheel and the other three axles into three of the other wheels. Identify the front and rear of the chassis and feed the drive wheel/axle through the rear hole in the chassis. Retain the axle in place by pressing the other drive wheel onto the free end of the axle. Now repeat this action for the other three axles and then pull the tracks over the wheels on both sides from the drive wheel end. Carefully separate the front wheels from their sprue and trim any burrs. Now fit four front wheels to a front outer track without glue and then carefully glue a front inner track onto the outer and fit a front track. Now repeat to make a second unit. Pod 2 Roof and Display Stand
Parts Supplied: Roof panel outer, Roof panel inner, Roof panel clear, Crane sides, Crane centre, Crane arms, Arm ends X4, Cylinders X4 (on fret), Metal buttons X4, Screws, Virgil Tracey, Thick stand frames, Thin stand frames, Stand frame columns.
Glue one of the metal buttons into each of the arm ends and then snap the end of each arm into the arm ends. Next insert a cylinder into the end of an arm and turn the cylinders by 90 degrees to click it into place. Gently squeeze the end of the arm to ensure the parts are properly fitted and repeat for the other three cylinders.
Now fit the end of one of the cylinders into the centre of one of the crane sides and turn the cylinder by 90 degrees to engage the 'T' with the slots in the crane side. Then push the arm between the ends of the crane side and test that the arm can swing in and out. Using the same method fit a second arm to the crane side and then prepare the second crane side.
Open the hatch on the underside of the pod and pull the main shaft out fully. Insert one of the screws through the hole in the middle of the crane centre. Then holding the crane centre onto the end of the shaft secure it there with the screw. Now glue one of the crane sides onto each end of the crane centre. When the glue has set, push the crane into the pod and push the top plate all the way to the top of the frame so it is held by the magnets. Now close the hatch.
Glue the roof panel outer to the inner and press the parts together until the glue sets. The roof will sit neatly onto the space between the two side panels. Pod 2 is now complete. With this stage you receive a clear roof panel which you can use instead of the standard one.
Carefully remove the cockpit windscreen and fit the Virgil Tracy figure into the pilot seat in the Thunderbird 2 cockpit, then replace the windscreen.
Insert one of the thick stand frames into one of the stand frame columns and the insert another thick stand frame into the holes at the other end of the column. Now fit a column onto the other end of the stand frames. Then repeat the procedure to create a second frame.
Insert the four thin stand frames into the columns of one of the frames made previously and insert the free ends of the thin stand frames into the other frame. The stand is now complete and will allow you to display the pod with the crane out. The thicker frames are slightly longer, so position the pod with these at the side. The metal buttons at the end of the crane arms will be able to hold the explosive tractor. Carefully lower Thunderbird 2 over the pod.
This completes the build of the Thunderbird 2 Extension Pack.delboy271155 attached the following image(s): COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"
