Hi guys, Now that i am half way more or less in the build i thought i would share it with you. I had a few problems with the planking of the bow to start with but after stripping several rows off and fairing some more i eventually overcame that issue. I have found that as i have progressed i have gained confidence in overcoming obstacles and trying things a little for myself. For instance, due to the invaluable input from other members, without which this would have been a long , hard and uphill struggle, i put window frames into the quarterdeck partitions to give them a more realistic look, and also put rope on the ships wheel feeding it down through the deck. Cant remember who posted this but thankyou. This is my first attempt at anything like this and i must admit i am proud as punch with it up to now, touch wood. What do you all think of the views between the decks? All my pics are as attachments as i dont know how to make them part of the text like you guys seem to do. Maybe a bit of advice on this please?

Hi Dave, I am not building the Victory but I am impressed with your work, also of the photography as I was a keen amateur photographer back in the days of roll film and enlargers I like the 'between decks' shots they give a sense of realism to the model. cheers Peter completed..... Welcome to the forum Peter, for a first time build it's fantastic You need to reduce the file size of each photo, currently they are too large. Keep up the good work!
