I recently completed the R2-D2 build and have tried two different sets of batteries, but he won't fully power up and I haven't been able to use him yet.

With both sets of batteries, the same results: I've fully charged the batteries and turned him on. He jerks forward slightly and his main red light stays on, indicating less than 20% power I think. I can connect to him on the app but it says bettery level 0%. If I try to operate him, he beeps out in protest and nothing else happens.

I opened him up and can't see any obvious loose wires. Any ideas what I can try next please? I'll try to add a picture of one of the batteries, but this is my first post here.

Thanks.

Batterys look fine but we need to check your battery box is working next . Borrow a test meter if you can and find out what voltage your getting from the leed that plugs into the MSU.

Hi. I have now tested the lead from the box and it shows 12.25v.

Any suggestions what to try next?

Next you will need to double check all your tags are located on the correct wires and that they are pluged into there sockets correctly and the right way round.
