Hi, I'm Bob Moore from Nacogdoches, Tx., in the USA. Before I retired, I was the IT manager for the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services in the Eastern part of Texas. We handled cases involving child protection as well as protection for vulnerable adults. And there's a day care center monitoring function that we do as well. I retired 2 1/2 years ago and have been doing some woodworking, making some acoustic guitars, and sick of watching tv. Used to play a lot of golf, but the desire just went away. :( I used to make model cars as a teen, but I've not done anything as far as models. I believe making the acoustic guitars will give me a good leg to stand on. I see similarities in attention to detail, patience, workmanship, etc. Knock on wood. I've got a ton of questions about getting the paint for HMS Victory, which is my first build, and what tools I'm going to need. Oh one other question, are there separation forums and topics for each of us in our own country, or are we all in one big family?
Thanks for listening. Hope to meet many folks here.
Good day, Bob

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Starting to already feel at home. Mark, much appreciated. I'm already thru 25 of the "Official" build diary, and there's another from Genessis models. Just getting antsy waiting for the first set of parts to get here. mwstratton, Spring is about 2 hrs southwest of Nacogdoches. If you go east on Hwy 99 out of Spring, and turn north on Hwy 69, you'll run into it after a while. Btw, forgot to mention. The user name I have stands for Nacogdoches Coach Bob. I had started coaching soccer when my son was 6, and something like 15 or 16 years later I finally hung up the cleats. But most people who know me do know me as "Coach Bob", and I really cherish the name.
