I’m at the stage of constructing the visible cannons, but I’m stumped by the cascabel rings- there seems to be no good way of mounting them properly. How did everyone else deal with that?
cheers- Scott

On mine I drilled a small hole which took its time and installed the ring. Or you could solder them on.

Well, that's a good use for the Dremel drill press! Did you make a jig to hold them at the right angle?

No they were free hand but would recommend making a jig.

Comparing first soldering attempt vs just tying them in an overhand knot slipped over the cascabel.
A problem with soldering will be removing the solder that flowed too far and restoring brass finish (I don’t want to paint).

The only way is a little touch up of brass paint. You wouldn't notice it really.
