Stage 21 complete. Nothing exiting to report on tis stage other than I drilled a little too aggressively making the garlands and now I have a couple of holes in my putting pad. I guess better that than the table top. This is coming along nicely and I am really enjoying this kit.

Stage 22 complete. Complete? Well, sort of. The mast is painted but I am waiting for an order of 3mm black tape from Amazon. Finding ochre paint was a real challenge. I finally found a hobby store on the opposite end of the city where I live that carries a full line of Humbrol paint. It covers nicely but takes a looong time to dry.

Stage 23 Complete. Not much to say about this stage. It went fairly smoothly. Unfortunately work is keeping me form this a lot more than I'd like.

Stage 24 complete. For the mast bands I wanted something other than paint so I found some tape used in making grids on whiteboards. I think it turned out well. I was also happy to have the choice of not doing more hammocks.

Stage 25 complete. If I was naming stages this one would be The Stage From Hell. Nothing fit, nothing lined up, nothing went together simply. I spent a heck of a lot of time cutting, drilling, sanding, scraping, shaping and gluing. I just don't understand how all the other doors and gun ports lined up just fine except these last four. Oh well, I guess it was a test as to my resolve to finish it.

Well done for sticking with it and your effort shows in what will be a very nice build.

The things are sent to test us. When we solve them it makes us all a better modeller. You will have learnt a lot from all of this which will carry over into every other model.

She is looking great keep at it and it will turn into a masterpiece.
