Has a check been done on the spec of battery you have, do you have a supplier link for the battery purchased just to be sure?

Initially it sounds like an incorrect battery spec or connectivity problem, such as incorrect wiring, bent socket pins, connector plug not properly seated or an inverted connection.

"Inverted connection” seems to be the most common cause of a malfunction.

An inverted connection means that the connector has been plugged into the correct socket but is the wrong way round. Which once power is connected, can cause damage to the MCU and other components at the same time, such as the various motors and circuit boards.

We've been informed by a number of customers of a battery being correct that transpired to be incorrect once a supply link was provided. We just need to be certain of the battery spec so we can rule this out, can you therefore provide a link to the battery purchased.

Thereafter, a careful check needs to be done of the connectors & wiring.

Thank you for the informative reply I have checked the wiring again and found a small tear in one of the wires and have patched it up and now works fine.
