So I'm fast forwarding the adverts last night and a see a quick flash of "Build the Bismarck" I think great they are re-releasing the model. I rewind and to my disappointment I see it is a plastic and metal kit. The link is http://www.battleshipbismarck.co.uk/ if anyone is interested

Would be interested in your thoughts on this one Mick. I quite like the idea of the automated bits, brings the kit up-to-date a bit? I wanted the Amati version when I stumbled on my U96 kit. Saw a build vid on Utube in German but didn’t follow it through. I might have to join you on this quest, at least to see what the quality of the promo packs are like Cheers Gray

I see 'World of Wayne' has done a 1st issue review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbRvDYQEjSw
He tinks the quality is quite good. Will have to see how that pans out . Think it would look better with wooden deck, but i'm sure the 'after-market' market will provide Regards Gray

It appears to have only been a test in Germany Mario states- if i've understood it correctly-that he got the first 4 issues free for subscribing! Could this be the case here in the UK? It's certainly possible and only time will tell Regards Gray

It’s TV advertised, therefore not a test and will run its 140 issue full coarse Partwork companies tend not to TV advertise market tests.

Certainly wouldn't pay the price they're asking overall... Not good enough for that kind of money even with all the whistles and flutes.....
