Has anyone found that by using a multimeter across the + red and- black lead from the battery box that it actually does something to the box circuitry, my box gave 12.5 volts for about 5 secs then nothing, got a replacement box and the same thing happened 12.5 volts for about 5 secs then nothing, would the multimeter actually
damage the circuit in the box, i am a electrician so do know how to use a multimeter

A multimeter uses very low current and very high impedance designs to minimise this possibility. Lots of people have tested the box using such and without problem.
Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .
