Hi,
I have had a few issues in the past with bad startups and hav replaced the MCU and the OrangePi, I am almost there.

I still have startup issues (the head does not move) but if I disconnect the head motor as other have and move the head manually R2 completes the startup sequence and I have full control other than the head.

I'm assuming therefore if I order issue 96 again and get a new head motor this will probably sort him out finally? I guess looking at the new (for me anyway as I havent looked for a while) this is a common issue where cabling could have been inverted or a dodgy MCU has damaged the motor?
Thanks for the help so far, almost there :)

Hi,
Same behaviour sadly.
Replaced motor, still no movement of head on startup. IfII plug the head motor in the head does move but it is jerky, if I hit Shake Head it does nothing. Everything else on the App works as advertised.

I noticed the Battery Charge on the App was saying 0%. SO I plugged in, switched on the battery an then switched on with button 6. The head does a proper check this time, flashes purple, fast, solid red and a whistle and then shows flashing purple as if charging. If I then just remove the charger he works as advertised and I can drive the head (though a little jerky) and shake head works along with all other functions once connected with the app.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
J.
