Made a little more progress... the hoses are killing me, the little nubs/mounting points are breaking off, so i am resorting to jungle-gluing to get them to stay, it doesn't look bad, but i'll always know... having said that, the gear box looks cool! getting ready to do the floor next! All looking good and nice work. I used a tooth pick to strech the tube ends 1st before applying them to the nipples. Others used hot water to warm the tube as well to aid fitting Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi All, after life getting in the way again, got some more time to get some work done. Finally coming together. I had a hell of a time with the oil lines on top of the engine. i accidentally glues them together upside down and in the process of correcting it, i pretty much had to break it and superglue it in correctly. It looks ok, but i'll know... haha. i think i'm on step 62, so closing in on the end. I'm looking forward to putting on the aftermarket marlboro decals. Also i got the 1:8 Senna figure from Japan. Still need to figure out how/when to add him. I used Google translate on the instructions (which are in Japanese) but it wasn't super helpful... any tips? Thanks for your help guys! Ok guys! I made the big push and finally finished! Overall it was a very fun build, the hoses were my nemesis though! It came together very well. I'm tempted to get the Hamilton McLaren, but that one looks like it's a lot of finish work to get it glossy, which i have no experience with. Have any of you guys done that one? Anyway, here it is! No fancy mods other than the Senna figure and the Marlboro decals. thanks for all of your nice words and encouragement along the way! ManDan attached the following image(s):
