I believe this has been discussed but need confirmation.

My R2D2 is nearly completely working but has 1 small issue.

Running from batteries the head doesn't move at startup or with app.
When plugged in the head rotates as expected.

It works as expected otherwise.
It will wander about, it responds to vocal commands, all the buttons work.
I connected to app and everything works including rotating head left and right, except the Move Head button does noting.
It dances, it moves both ways, it rotates, its arms and light sabre work up down work.
On start up the motors jolt it forward.
Camera works.

Just a permanent red light light and not head movement on startup.

Is it a MCU as I have seen in other threads?
I put a new PI in as I broke the connector for the camera on the original one.
