Gun shield fitted. At this point the Flak 37 gun is complete. Granted, there is still a little dressing with a file required in certain areas, but i'll do this just prior to painting.

Flak 37 gun body and shield in situ on the lower deck of the conning tower. I will eventually drill a hole through the guns base and insert a brass dowel which will locate on the conning tower.
