Hi All,

I need your expert advice please.

On trying to fit the bow planks at layer 7 below the waterline, I have found that fitting a plank flush with the frames, the gap is too large to insert a single dropper. The angle is such that it widens from 2.5 mm to 10mm between the bow frame (8) and frame 10.

I've made up an extra wide dropper plank that fill this gap, but it looks very odd, so I thought I'd come here for guidance before continuing.

hi, I have been looking at this prob since last night, sorry for the delay, what you need is a series of droppers spreading back to take in the gap,if you are painting it won't matter,if your not painting you may be better off stripping back and start your droppers earlier, but mwg might have an easier answer for you, good luck and don't give up.

Hi StefanDV..

Sorry if you think, some of use are ignoring your build, but i fore one am new to the build and have only completed the victory hull, probably by beginners luck than experience.
I was looking at the problem you have and would also be interested in the problem solving guide from the more experienced around here.

Have you been back over the magazine guide and Tomicks, build diary?
I found myself re reading the diary over and over again until this nerve racking part of the build was complete to my beginners level.

Best regards,
Ian
