Hi All!
I sent some photos of my new diorama, "Welcome to DDH IZUMO(いずも), F35BJ!” . The scale is 1/72.

Now a day, no F35B is equipped on DDH IZUMO, a helicopter destroyer of Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) yet. Japan Government is planning to remake IZUMO as an aircraft carrier at this time.

This diorama is a Imaginary seen when the first F35B arrives at the IZUMO in the future. A lots of crews welcome the stealth fighter, and they take a commemorative picture with it.
Plastic model of JMSDF F35B-J with rising-sun marks is a new kit from HASEGAWA. Flight deck, a part of the bridge and two additional vehicles are my original full scratch models.

I hope members like this diorama.

Best Regards,
Yutaro

That is a superb diorama Yutaro, with lots of interesting areas to look at. As someone who is primarily an aviation modeller I really appreciate what you have achieved with your build, very well done. Drool ThumpUp

Very sad to hear in the news recently that one of Japan's F-35s has crashed into the sea and the pilot is still missing, I hope that the rescue services find him alive and soon. Sad

Hi DaDokta,Kev and Tony!
I'm very glad to read your commnts on my post.
Seeing the photos of IZUMO, I noticed that there are lots of friends of F35B on the DDH IZUMO's deck. So I tried to make them and put them around the fighter.
I am also worried about accident of first F35A in Japan. I wish the pilot came back alive.
Best Regards,
Yutaro
