Well this is going to put the cat amongst the pigeons, but my nomination would go to...........the AC (Shelby) Cobra ! I have wanted one of these in real life since I first saw one as a boy. I even toyed with the idea of building one as a kit car (just not the same....unless you can get one of the Gardener Douglas versions). However, inspired by Andy’s (arpurchase) build of a 1/12 scale Cobra (brilliant build, if you haven’t seen it I would seriously recommend it), I nominate a 1/8 scale part work of this iconic car.
I know some might say ‘well we already have a partwork for the Shelby Mustang, but that was based on a road-going American car, whereas this was based on an English car that was already successful, but Caroll Shelby took it to another level.
Just my thoughts. What do you think 🤔
