Just thought I would share my latest addition
The Toyota 2000gt, what a fantastic kit this is, I can't recommend it enough.
It took me just over 12 happy hours to build and loved every minute of it.

And some of my previous builds

Thanks for looking in BigGrin
Built- Shelby Mustang, Lamborghini Huracan
Building-Spitfire, Redbull racing RB7, 3d printer, Honda CB750, Stage coach and Revell 1/400 Titanic

It looks great.
I was tempted by this kit but I like my 'biggies' all to be the same 1/8 scale.

A stunner though.

Thank you for the nice comments
I agree Roy I like to keep them the same scale but I couldn't help myself, it's such an iconic car and the quality of the kit doesn't let it down.
A few more additions until I call it complete (nothing major just some finishing touches) will update very soon
Quick question, we love to build em and enjoy them but... and not to go all cream egg with you all but with the cases, How do you display yours??

I'm still tempted by this kit. It's such an amazing, iconic car.
It really must be one of the BEST sports cars Japan ever turned out.

I's funny how the open-top version never really existed, except in the James bond movie.
All because Sean Connery couldn't get into the coupe, so they chopped the roof off!

Such a shame too Roy, the open top is a good looking car, maybe a custom build of the open top would be a good model. Beyond my skills but you would do a fantastic job. BigGrin

That's a very useful link to the display case manufacturer Roy, thanks for that and they seem very reasonably priced too. I was looking for a bespoke case for my Gr.4 Tornado build when it's finished, so thanks for the help, problem solved.

I will be ordering from them when the time comes. ThumpUp
