I decided to pick this one out of my stash to give me something small to do. Plus I haven't built a WW2 German plane before so is a first. The Kit is a few yrs old now but quality is good. Here are the start pics for you Including my new Airbrush . The cockpit looks dark but it isn't.

The build should be no probs but it will need a careful paint job at this scale so good luck with your new airbrush.

One thing I would recommend for your new airbrush is to polish the needle, or you can use it as supplied then polish it to see the difference it will make and you will see the difference I garantee it.
Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

I thought at £200 for an airbrush it should be polished. How do I polish it so I don't ruin it. A new needle on this one is so expensive.

Looks a great kit Chris, and in my opinion one of the best fighters that Germany produced during WWII, will definitely be following and commenting on your build. Well done on a great start and well done you on being the first to post a new build diary to help start this forum on the road to recovery and hopefully get it back to where it was! Cool ThumpUp

Love your new Harder & Steenbeck 'Infinity' CR Plus airbrush, it looks like pure quality, is beautifully finished and I'm sure will give great results from the first use. Looking at getting one of those myself in the not too distant future so I'll be interested to know how you get on with it Chris?

Use the finest micromesh you have just draw the needle backwards through a piece folded in half. As you draw the needle backwards turn it slowly . do this around half a douzen times or so.

Hi guys, just a quick update. I've glued the cockpit and firewall to the fuselage and glued them together.
