Ok, I have spent the last couple weeks trying to get R2D2 to work and I am pretty sure that I have it down to a bad mcu and pc board. One or both is bad, I can get him to boot up every so often and work but he went crazy the last time and had to turn him off.

I posted a forum post the other day and only got one reply. Now I have pretty much narrowed it down myself.

Please advise how I get a new MCU and PC board after spending 2 years and over $1000 USD. Is there a refund program?

The best way would to contact c/s for replacement boards. You can find their number inside the magazine.

I havent built this one but that would be your best option, customer services they could arrange to look at it or be happy to replace faulty parts.
Always frustrating but from my experience Modelspace have always been good to put it right

Check to see what issues those boards came in. Call C/S and ask for replacement issues. Should be no charge to replace faulty equipment.
