Do the so called new members that join for one reason think we are all thick on this forum.

You only have to look at the new posts and the spam topics stand out a mile. 10 posted this morning all by the same person.

What do they do check in every so often to see how many people have looked at what they have posted.

Simple way is not to open any of their topics and hopefully with no views they will stop posting.

Regards

Sadly, the deluded idiots that post this stuff has no interest whatever in whether anyone opens a post.
They are simple-minded trolls who just enjoy clogging up forums and as they perceive it in their tiny minds, causing aggro.

There needs to be a few more moderators, or people with the access to be able to delete this rubbish far more quickly.

Roy.

Perhaps the other solution is for members to generate posts/activity to get this rubbish off the board, once its off the board its forgotten about.

hello Together,
unfortunately it comes in the last days again and again to spam here and also in the German forum. As soon as I see that, I delete the spam and ban the user.

It seemed to get dealt with fairly quickly though today.

I did 10 report spam reports this morning so someone seems to have actioned them.

They are really odd posts though arn't they. Seems to be a common topic with training shoes and that appears on no end of sites not just this one.

I sometimes wonder were the people posting these get the text from - its very odd.

But that said its not really worrying me that much as it seems to get sorted fairly wuickly

Unfortunately, it's a doddle to spam forums.

There are umpteen 'automatic spam generators' out there if you Google it.
If anything, Google should be blocking such links.

But for the spammers, that's the whole point.
They just do it to annoy other people.

Even THEY don't know what rubbish they are spamming.
