Modelspace seem slow in putting the assembly guides up. Received box 7 but no guide up yet. Shame they stopped the magazines, my preference, liked to read up on the model building. Andy.

Hi Alan, yes I’ll give it another day then email them. You would think if they send out each box of parts the guides would be up beforehand. Never had problems with other builds when mags were included. Was this a cost cutting exercise for deag as the builds are not cheaper without them. Andy.

Sent email to Modelspace c/s and got a reply from Ian with the pdf to download the build instructions by email. It’s not Deag that puts up the assembly guides it’s another company that are slow at it. Ian has suggested to them to put up 3 months of assembly guides up at a time but may have fallen on deaf ears. Andy.

I see that the pack 7 instructions are still not up on the website, why can they not just be emailed to the subscribers as the did with Andali above?

mpfriend it seems you have to make the first move to get them. I have seen the build from 60-67 on YouTube if you don’t get a reply from deags c/s. Andy.

Yes Sasha, as with mpfiend, thanks for the message. Let’s hope it’s sorted soon. Would be nice to see all the guides up at once and we could see all the parts we will get for the whole build. Maybe I’m expecting to much. Andy.

Perhaps I`m missing something here. Question 1: What has the Jaguar got to do with this as it was a magazine production and the instructions were not set out in pdf form? Question 2: As the pdf`s for the Samba were not a problem for the first four packs, why has there now been a revelation that the web site has an issue? Hi Derek, the request for the Jaguar is for the German Forum. There is no magazine delivered, but only the pdf instructions for download. Liam has put it all together in an e-mail. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) I saw that about the Jaguar and am hoping it does not mean i am going to have problems. I am not quite half way through that sub as yet so hoping this mention is not a prelude to a parts shortage. My sub to the jaguar has seen each set of parts arrive with a magazine which have the build instructions for that set of parts. Tony Happy Modelling

Finally assembly guide 7 has appeared. Why don’t they put all the guides up save people complaining. Don’t understand why Sasha was told the samba guide was tricky. Andy.

The problem is that the home page where the Samba bus is hosted is not managed by MS. Therefore, it takes a little longer. 😉 Der gesamte Baubericht und alle Fotos unterliegen dem Urheberrecht. Verwendung außerhalb dieses Forums bedürfen schriftlicher Genehmigung. © Levelord

Poor supply for instructions on this, the Beetle and Easy Rider. Build guides have stopped and moderators disappeared. Faulty parts slow to replace. Looks like Model Space don't give a s**t about their customers any more! HMS Victory, Spitfire, MP 4-23, D51, T72, Honda CB750, Harley Davidson, Hayabusa, Ducatti 1299, E-Type, Mustang and Porsche 911, VW T1 Samba. Many others from other suppliers on the go!
