Hi all. Just ordered the full kit of the Victory. Received a email saying the kit is back ordered Has any one had a order that was backorder. If so how long did you have to wait. Called customer service and they was they did not know when they would get more in. Its a bummer

People waited over a year for the Countach kit when it was on back order...
Hope yours isn't that bad.

I sounds like a straightforward question. I find it surprising that no one at DeAg knows the answer even if it is approximate.

Yeah but they are having to rely on info coming from the supplier, which isn’t always forthcoming

Isn't that something DeAg needs to sort out in that case rather than just shruging and say 'We don't know'?

I think a lot of it is down to the actual kit manufacturers.
Sometimes, a part work sells really well and the M/F's keep up with it really well.

Then, DeAg offers it as a complete kit.

Often, sales are good - no problem.
Then, sometimes a kit goes berserk and the manufacturer is caught off-guard, as with the Lambo Countach.

They struggle to supply with the demand.
They Will, but we need to be a bit patient.

I don't have a problem with that, Roy, things like that happen.

What I don't understand is why no one at DeAg seems to know what is going on and when it may become available, if at all.

I suspect that DeAgostini will wait until there is sufficient demand to make a further production run cost efficient. That is the only reason I can think of that justifies the 'I don't know when it will be available' response. That is probable why you will wait 6 weeks of 12 months! Just a thought....

Fair enough if that is their decision but it would be nice if they were honest enough to say that.

I got a email from customer service and had to laugh. I ordered the full kit of the Victory, the paint and copper tiles. It went on back order because packs one and two the paint and tiles were out of stock. So they said going to ship me packs three through twelve. Will send me packs one and two the paint and tiles when they come in. Told me could be six weeks or longer before they come in. So will have part of the ship and still can not start it

Now they changed my order again. Starting to wonder if even worth it. Been looking at other Victory models

I am also having issues with my orders. I ordered the 12 month subscription to the victory as well as the copper tiles and paint back in February. I did receive pack 1 but I am still waiting on pack 2, the tiles and paint. I was told by customer service that pack 2 is out of stock and back ordered same story with the paint and tiles. No date given for restock. Since this was taken so long I called and asked if the Swift model was in stock so I ordered it to build while I wait for the Victory. To make a long story short I was charged a total of 2 times and still don’t have the Swift….it’s now out of stock with no known restock date. When I complained about the charges customer service has stated that they have escalated the matter for refund. I have already contacted my credit card company and they are now looking into it. I keep thinking maybe next week the kits will arrive but honestly I am about done.

Going to take pictures and hope everything is there. Still waiting on pack two along with tiles and paint. No word on when will be shipped to me. I to am losing hope

Received email from customer service. They have no idea when pack 2 will come off back order. It seems there are a lot of people waiting on pack 2 . They told me they send a message to manufacture weekly telling them what is on back order but pack 2 does not seem to be shipped to them

Just a quick question. Did you get any Mast Plans with your full kit? Either printed or as PDF on the cd.

I do not know i have not opened the boxes. With all the run around i am getting from customer service over pack two and the copper tiles i am seriously considering returning the kit. It is very frustrating when you pay for a full kit they take your money and you do not get what you ordered and the only answer you get is i do not know when the missing items will be shipped. I know i am not the only one here in the states that feels the same way
