I am thinking of doing the d57 train next , As anyone done this model and was it a good build or not.

Hi Steve,
Do you mean C57? Or D51?
If you mean C57, then judging by all the reviews (5 stars) it would appear to be a quality kit. Comes pre-painted, so you just have to be aware of fingerprints and glue lines. Oh and of course it's BIG and HEAVY BigGrin

its the C51 gray, it looks impressive and i do like trains.

I built the D51 and it was one of the best partworks ever.The train is HUGE once finished.The C57 is very similar to the D51 except it is prepainted which does save a lot of time. Would highly recommend one of these trains

thanks for doing the video carl, it does look and sound great, im gonna order the first two issues for £9.99 and give it a go.

You wont regret it.Of all the models I have built and displayed this one gets the most attention.I hope you will post a build diary so we can follow along with your progress.
