Hi all! I send some photos of a 1:700 full hull model of battleship KONGO(金剛). This is a recent snap-fit ship kit from FUJIMI co. Every parts are pre-colored. No adhesive is required as the parts are inserted into the dowel holes and attached I was presented this kit the other day. Telling truth, when I saw it first, I did not expect satisfactory results. After building this snap-fit kit. I have found that I was wrong. The model in the photos is almost basic composition. There is no enhance on this model other than weathering. Yutaro Hope all is well with you. That is a beautiful model and i am surprise just how good it looks straight from the box. It certainly looks like snap fit kits have changed from what i can remember from years ago. The finish on this one is extremely good. Tony Happy Modelling

Hi Tony and Mick! Thank you for your comments on my post. I have found several advantages of such a snap-fit model. There is no need to wait for paint dring. Only 1 day was needed to build this model. I notice that I have to lost a lot of times to wait for paint dring. There is no need to make masking process. It also save my time.
