I didn’t let the batteries charge fully. It worked fine, but I took the batteries out to charge them fully and now nothing works. Is there a way to reset the whole thing. I bought this to build with my grandson. Lots of time and money latter nothing is working.

you will have to reset, put the batteries back in, then put the power adaptor in and switch the power on for about ten seconds, then remove the adaptor, hopefully now the batteries will be recognised by the unit.

have you checked the voltage of the batteries, are they the same.

No I am not that clever, it will have to wait til this weekend, and maybe my grandson can check that, I have no idea what to do. I know the batteries are all brand new and purchased together.

you had a voltage checker with the build debra.

I know I sound dumb, if that is the thing used to charge them, yes they were all the same. I think this was an expensive mistake. Should have left it alone.

yes debra, it had a led display, and you are not dumb, there are no dumb questions, its just finding the fault.

Hi Debra,
The first thing is that as Steve mentioned, there are no dumb questions. (Actually, the only dumb question is one you DON’T ask!)
Are you using the single battery charger that came with the build? It’s critical that you do. Also, which batteries do you have? (Probably not the source of the issue, since it ran before)
Check the connection with the battery box. It’s possible you may have dislodged a connector. I know I don’t have a lot of cable to pull out when I’m accessing the battery box on mine.
That’s what jumps to mind right off...

I am going to try this weekend to get to the connections and see if that’s the issue. The batteries are EBL

He is back and functional, thanks all for the patience and advice, must have pinched a wire. Now to figure out voice control.

Debra Glad you got him working. Waiting with great trepidation for next month when my last shipment arrives. From what I've read on these forums, don't be too surprised if the voice control doesn't work. Seems like the microphone either doesn't work well or picks up so much noise that he can't "hear" you properly.

I have not been very successful at getting voice control to work, which is disappointing. But still patting myself on the back for even attempting to build him.
