I just saw a really nice video on youtube and saw a lot more lighting for the interior hold (wall sconces...floor lighting, etc) and I asked the builder where he had gotten the fiber optics and modified pieces. He explained that it was from Deagostini and was part of the hong kong release...if this is true, can someone who has already fully purchased the millennium falcon purchase the additional lighting from model-space??

Thanks!

Clay

Not that I am aware of. The original power board that comes with the kit would not support additional lighting. Members who added these features did so at there own spec and added addition boards to run them, including myself.
I built the official custom build here which shows how I added these features should anyone wish to do the same.

Hi Sherman, we cooperate with De Agostini, and launch officially the new edition of Build The Millennium Falcon in Hong Kong, with lots of extra lighting effect in the cockpit and hold (Pack 1).

Is it possibłe your builder is working from the stk version of the full kit rather than having the kit direct from deagostini.

Stk from what i can understand supply the deagostini product with the upgrades. Not 100% sure deagostini would supply their offering with the upgrades (but could be wrong).

Why not contact stk direct here are their details

Also bear in mind that for many reasons, kit releases can differ from country to country.
For example, in Japan, Thunderbird 2 came with a very informative glossy magazine all about Thunderbirds and other Gerry Anderson stuff.
In the UK, we didn't get it.
But then, believe it or not, Thunderbirds is FAR bigger in Japan than in the UK.
