Thanks tigerace I look forward to seeing your build would be nice to compare notes. After many weeks tying clove hitches the ratlines are almost done just got half of the upper ones left to do . With the upper shrouds completed the ratlines are finally finished. At this point I realised I had forgotten to add the reinforcing brace to the catshead ,just needs a bit of black paint to finish it off then I can carry on with the bowsprite File Attachment(s): nightwisher attached the following image(s): Man he took his time in the sun Had a dream to understand A single grain of sand He gave birth to poetry But one day will cease to be Greet the last light of the library...We were here!

Thank you to everyone who looked in and those lovely comments . I have now fitted the bowsprite and have made a start on the fore stays .A word of warning here,if you folow the instructions like i did the lanyard at the bottom of the bowsprite that attaches the main stay will end up under the pin rail so I had to move it up about 40 mm nightwisher attached the following image(s): Man he took his time in the sun Had a dream to understand A single grain of sand He gave birth to poetry But one day will cease to be Greet the last light of the library...We were here!
