Can anyone tell me which way to mount the stern post. I assume the parallel face is mounted on the false keel but as the other face is tapered, which end goes were?  I have looked at other builds but it is not possible to see as the gallery end is partially cover with planks. Thanks Athol

The tapered end of the stern post goes flush against the uderside of the gallery suport.
