Kev Credit to you as it looks like a complicated build with the parts you get but you seem to have the knowledge (is that a star wars phrase :-) or is it "The Force"? to pull it all back on track. Sure you will turn out a very nice result with this one? Have you planned any special way of displayong this one ? Tony Happy Modelling

All coming together nicely Kev. I think casting the engine in one piece may have caused some problems so they cast them separately and also its two extra parts for the kit. Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi Kev, Following your post with interest, I can still see that plane sitting on Southampton pier back in the 50's or one very similar,I must say that your build is looking a real treat and looking forward to the next post. Regards Trev. Work in progress: Tombstone (Scratch) - San Francisco 2. -The Mayflower ( scratch by plan).

Hello all,
A bit more done, mostly fixing of the wings permanently and adding missing details. This update brings the main airframe almost to completion, next update will see the fitting of the struts and floats, then it's on to the painting stage after that, then the building of the beaching trolley. Photos and text below will explain what has been done.
Thanks for looking, all comments and criticisms welcomed.

Hello all,
My job has kept me away from the modelling bench for a little while but I've finally managed to take this build almost to the end of the construction work having now completed the aircraft, apart from adding the bracing wires which will be done after all painting is completed. I have also built the beaching trolley along with it's wire wheels. I have reference photos that show the aircraft mounted on the beaching trolley with additional wooden trestles placed to support the front and rear ends of the floats. There are none provided in the kit, which I was a bit disappointed about as some of their other Schneider Trophy planes have them supplied as part of the kit, so I am thinking of scratchbuilding some, though this will be done after the kit is fully finished.
The photos and text below will show what has been done. Thanks for looking in, all comments and criticisms are welcomed as always.
