Thanks for the kind words chaps.

I've now cast 2 tyres and given all the parts a coat of paint.
The tyres and rims now need fettling to fit neatly together and the pictures just show the parts loosely placed for now.
All holes in the rims need drilling through as well.

When they are sorted, I'll flatten the tyre bottoms as I always do, to look as if the car has weight.
Then the wheels can be fitted and after that, the interior and base.

Then it will be on to the exterior details...

That looks fantastic, Roy! Your leatherwork is what really sets it apart.

I’ve got an RAE Lotus 18 in the stash. I’ll probably do it in Sterling Moss’s markings.
