Received pack eight this week so was eager to get to work on it. There are some cross members to fit to the frame along with the H frame. You also get to finish most of the engine, which looks stunning. Next time you get to fit it into the frame. Looking forward to that.

More soon.

Thank you Phil. I’ve got the fat boy black Harley helmet a while ago, the plan is for it to be painted in the Captain America colours.

Received packs 9 & 10.
It is coming together very well now, although a lot of the parts in both packs are not assembled yet. It must all come together in the last 2 packs.
Anyway, here are the pictures of the assembly in pack 9.

Pack 10 parts assembly. Some of the parts were quite difficult to put together as the screws were very tight, so care was needed without over threading them.

These last pictures are the petrol tank, re varnished with a sparkle effect. It can’t be seen to well in the photo’s but makes all the difference. I had some time ago bought the Fatboy Harley helmet, which is a black colour and has now been painted into the Captain America colours. I have taken pictures with the tank and helmet together, as you can see a perfect match. I am very pleased with the result. The last picture I couldn’t resist putting the tank into position to get an idea how it will look. The model is already very heavy and going to look great when finished.

Thanks for looking.

Looks great! The subtle weathering on the motor is difficult to achieve on the chrome finish, but you nailed it.

Thank you guys for your commentsBlushing

Pack 11 has arrived. Although not a very big pack to assemble, there is a lot to do this time around. To start with we get to fit a lot of the sub-assemblies that were made up in previous issues and stored until now. Here you can see I have made a start and there are some quite fiddly component to fit. It is important to note that anyone making this kit, you need to carefully bag any remaining parts and label them clearly particularly the nuts, bolts, screws and various springs. The parts are very well made, and it is beginning to really have some weight to it. I am only halfway through this stage and there will be more to follow shortly with more engine and gearbox parts to assemble as well as fitting the front forks.

Thank you for looking in, more soon.Cool

Hi Mark, looks really great. Pack 11 is also a lot of work. I am also in the process.
Will the official construction report be continued here in the forum? Otherwise I'll continue there.
