Hello, So I am up to stage 93 where I am fitting the top hull frame to the bottom frame. When I fitted the top to the bottom and screwed everything in, I noticed the two mandables seem to be dipping down a little bit, and there is a little gap betwwen the top and bottom. Also the cockpit seems to be slightly loose. I am worried that over time the mandable will continue to get looser and will eventually break off. I am a beginner model maker, and am thinking of having someone finish it off for me. Are my worries justified or are these two issued normal? Pictures attached. Thanks.

Hi The mandibles have pins the slot into the frame and once the top section is screwed on it should pull the mandible in tight. You can get a slight gap, I did with mine but the top frame should hold it all together.. just check you haven’t missed any screws nearby. Regards Mark

Regards Mark Hello, The pins are in the holes, but the mandible is dipping down a little bit. Will this separate over time? Also, the LED's that were provided to me don't work. Am I able to buy more, and swap them out later? Or do I need to wait to complete my build? Thanks,

If you're talking about the LED's at the front of the mandibles, replace them immediately. You may already have problems trying to get into them if you glued things too tight. I think once you finish, you won't have access to any lights for replacement if you glued things in like the instructions say. As for the mandible droop, if you have all screws properly tightened, once the top is on, there should be no noticable droop. Just looked at mine, and no droop after two years together.
