So I have my completed R2. When I first powered him up, the left leg motor didn't work, got the normal head turn and lights worked fine. A little issue with the arms.
Pulled him apart and found the motor problem (backwards plug, oops) and fixed the arm issue. Now when I power up R2 the head doesn't turn, the motor doesn't even power. I can turn his head with the app but he doesn't do the head shake, and when I move him forward his head turns as far as it can to the left. Also, when he's on patrol mode he can't seem to avoid any obstacles, just moves at full speed right into things, including walls. I've checked and rechecked all the connections multiple times over the last several days. Batteries are all good, too.

I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

When you took him apart, did you pull the batteries? If so, did you redo the first time startup with him plugged in? Think I read one of these posts ages ago that if you pull the batteries, you have to reinitialize.

Hadn't thought of that so I pulled the batteries, rechecked them, reinstalled, and reinitialized the battery pack.

No change.

Tried to do a bit more work this morning and noticed the camera no longer functions. It worked fine before, was able to take pictures and videos. I disconnected the ribbon connection and reconnected it, no change.
Also, the arms no longer move on his start up. I think I'm going to pull the batteries until I can get him fixed, just in case of a cascade failure.

Yes, made certain the batteries were fully charged. Still no change.
