Tony, It looks like my earlier question on the purpose of the bottom coach box has been answered. According to the model Trailways instruction referenced to you for the seats, it was a foot well. Lots to learn from both os these kit instructions. Great work. I would think your simulated cushion buttons, the nails, would probably be leather covered and therefore black. (or maybe not?) Tom

Thanks for the help on the nail buttons my kit has said, paint the nail heads brown to simulate leather (bit tricky right now) will have to think about it for my second build. Regards Trev. Work in progress: Tombstone (Scratch) - San Francisco 2. -The Mayflower ( scratch by plan).

UPDATE: Making and Fitting interior Bench. First picture show's parts needed to build the bench you need 6 support feet to fit to the base, which have to covered the edge with 0.6 x 2mm. Next cover foot base with 0.6x30 top and bottom, then line the edges with 0.6x2mm wood vernier sand with fine paper and french polish. To make the foot rest cut three small square pieces of wood, then glue sponge to make a pad cover and upholster to match interior doors More Soon Regards Trev.
