how about a traction engine, showman's engine or a road roller [either diesel or steam powered] but electric/battery powered as I know that purely steam powered would be a H&S & production nightmare but interesting.

Showmans engine sounds good because apart from it being very colourful it could be fitted out with all thise lights you tend to see Tony Happy Modelling

A showmans engine with a sam organ trailer would be spectacular, especially if it played a couple of tunes can you imagine it trundling along playing I do like to be beside the seaside “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

Problem will be that "Wilesco" already make a range of LIVE steam engine kits, so unlikely to be a viable release. Shame cos I like the idea. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

The only showmans engine kits I know of are the true live steam versions and they cost thousands of dollars.there was a Bandai showmans engine kit that was offered years ago.it is now a collectors item and goes for crazy money on ebay. I have one in my stash that I picked up a while ago before it got to silly prices to build. Its a pretty nice kit. Carl BTW tnequette on this forum posted some pics of his build of the Bandai kit and it is a stunner see the pics here http://forum.us.model-sp...spx?g=posts&t=17695
And a couple of pics of the Bandai kit-If you can find one http://forum.us.model-sp...spx?g=posts&t=20289

Carl That was a brilliant build Nemesis did and on the strength of seeing the kit managed to track one down at a very decent price but as you say many of the kits go for crazy money. Tony Happy Modelling
