Hi All, I thought I'd share my most recent completion. It is a Model Factory Hiro 1/12 Ferrari 156 "Sharknose" This was about a year in the making, but wasn't worked on regularly. (Those of you who have built a MFH kit will understand...) The kit is primarily white metal, with pressure cast resin for the body, lots of PE, and rubber. experten attached the following image(s): Tired, Old, and Cranky!

That is a brilliant build. One to be proud of.

Its a stunner Mark. MFH kits are incredible. They are difficult to build and it takes a huge amount if skill to make them look as good as Mark did. They often have hundreds of parts and almost every detail of the original car is represented.They do need extensive test fitting to make sure everything lines up and they are as much an engineering project as a kit build.The instructions are pretty good but you often need to do quite a bit of research to get everything right.
There was a post on the MFH FB group about how some people think that modelers building MFH kits are somehow cheating because they have so much detail. I think the opposite is true.There is a ton of detail so you dont need to scratchbuild the extra parts, but getting everything to fit is very challenging.

Fantastic job done with this Sharknose kit. These MFH kits are time consuming but very rewarding.Excellent stuff.

Hi Experten. Will that be the Lotus 49B 1/12 just released by MFH or the earlier 49? Both look like great kits to build. ( very envious )

Malc Itâs going to be the Jim Clark 49 from the â67 British Gran Prix. Iâve got two versions of the 49B on order, the A and C. Tired, Old, and Cranky!
