Have to agree, those seats do look amazing Love
Man he took his time in the sun
Had a dream to understand
A single grain of sand
He gave birth to poetry
But one day will cease to be
Greet the last light of the library...We were here!

Making and assemble of the Winch Box:

The winch box will be were the driver will sit, this will be made from wood and leather as you will see in the next post. The main frame is made from ply
which has to be turned up at the front to fit the foot plate, also it will be fitted with a internal door which has a brass handle.there are two small seats to upholster should be good fun.

Regards

Trev.

Hi Trev, BigGrin

Looking really good. Cool Cool Cool

Don`t know if these would be close enough in scale or of an acceptable price, but they do horses in 1:9 scale and as an extra, harness sets as well.

UPDATE:THE WINCH.

Cutting and Soldering Hand Rails.

To make two hand rails take the 0.2mm brass rod, cut two 85mm pieces then shape into 3 bends (8mm 21mm leaving 56mm length, now solder and clean up,
when finished make one more to match the first.

With the same 0.2mm rod make the central rail this is the one between the cushions, this one you have to adjust to the length of the winch box.

Brass rods ready to be Soldered.

Having fun.

This shows horizontal bar to be soldered.

This bar shows where the leather dust sheet will be stitched on.

Finished and painted

Regards

Trev.

Hi Trev BigGrin

You need to get a brass wire straightener. Will save you buying brass wire when its included in a kit.Blink Blink

https://www.ebay.co.uk/i...8a41:g:UuEAAOSwowddA5UU

From a previous thread you can see the results, as I have used it on 1.5mm wire as shown in post #6:
