Hi Shipmates I am going to see the Victory next weekend [weather permitting] with the intention of photographing the major relevant parts [Outside and Deck]. For all those with two eyes and two ears to the ground will know, HMS Victory is probably mastless by now or if not soon. However, that is not a problem as I am a few years away from worrying about the topside, of which a large part is shrouded. The photos will then be put up on one of them web hosting sites with a link here. Questions Is anybody looking for photos of a particular section, this can be above or below decks. Is there any particular part of Victory that anyone can think would be helpful to photograph considering that i possibly won't go back to her for another 12 months?

You may want to check if it's open. They are doing restoration work at moment and they really get funny about elf n safety.

If it is not too late to ask, any photographs of the stern of Victory below the gallery level would be much appreciated.
"Both Victory and the museum will remain open to the public throughout the restoration work." http://www.wave105.com/n...ain-Mast-To-Be-Removed/
I had it in mind that Victory was large...But I couldn't believe the actual size of HMS Victory until I saw the pictures here and the two men sitting on the crosstrees...Mind blowin!!! You will also need to get permission to take photographs on board or hang back from the group as I did.
E&S once again.
