I'm at the point where I'm test fitting the cockpit pieces, and then trying to fit it in the nose - I have to admit, I have very little confidence this will properly fit together. Did anyone find it tricky? I'm just wondering if I need to audit the instructions further.
On another note - were there replacement cone sections sent out? I thought I read something about this but there's no info on this I can find.
Cheers,

I had very little trouble getting the cockpit and nose cone pieces to fit. During the regular subscription about 4 years ago, a replacement nose cone and glass was automatically sent out in issue 40 or so.

Cheers, There have been no issues connecting the nose cone. In fact the cockpit it attached to the rear cockpit tubing and once in place the nose cone is then attached. The replacement cockpit was in issue 40, which includes the nose cone and glass. The original nose cone was in one of the first lot of issues and the glass for that comes in issue 46. Hope that helps Mark Regards Markwarren (Mark) Admin

The replacement glazing was sent to Australia, but with the cone sections, Australia was lumped with the incorrect ones and replacements were never sent and since I bought my issues from the newsagent, I now have glazing that won't fit the cone frames!
