Please help I have just finished the R2 unit, I’ve already replaced main PCB and both leg motors. Now the unit/he will move forward(with only power to left leg?)I have tried all other motors.nothing The unit will make noise as buttons are pushed, head doesn’t move, lightsaber only rises a little. Bottom button pushed once the red light is constantly on when pushed a second time the front light goes blue(flashing) and the rear light comes on green? I will try to add a video(being 50 it’s hard?lol) I have tried a video but just keeps saying error on website? https://youtu.be/YbKtLbNDpcs Try this link to video cheers for help.

Does sound like a wiring issue from what you are explaining. Check thoroughly the cables are the correct way round and seated correctly in their housing. Pushing the contacts down with a wooden screwer or cocktail stick should make sure they are seated home correctly, don’t use anything metallic when pushing in the cables though. With regards to posting your video, use a medium such as YouTube to upload it to, then paste in the link. Regards Mark

To me, it sounds like some wires may be pinched or shorted. I would pull and test the leg motors as you did when assembling the legs. When you replaced the leg motors, did you also replace the cables that are routed through the leg frame to the controller? Check pinch points where the cable goes through the shoulder joint for broken or damaged wires on ALL the cables running through the joint. I suspect R2 is running through it's self test and probably isn't completing it or something along those lines because it has an error in reading the foot motor. I can see your video, it does sound like a wiring problem as Fred has also said. Unfortunalty it will be a matter of going through all the wires, checking them methodically. It can be time consuming, I know, but worth the effort. Cheers Mark
