Well, it is undeniably a great movie but once again we see Hollywood re-writing history and leaving the UK out of the story.
If you are a real 'car fanatic' you can only be annoyed that the movie somehow almost ignores the fact that the GT40 was designed, developed and built in the UK, right through the MK 1, 2 & 3.
Only the Mk 4 was built in the US several years later.
Ho hum.
Still, a fabulous car and a very good movie.

Saw movie yesterday and as I recall the first GT-40 shown was acknowledged as fresh from England.  Tom
