I've finished my build, but I'm waiting for a replacement issue 99 PCB board to correct the inability to link my R2 to my Pixel 2 directly or via wifi.

I have been able to connect my older MotoX phone directly but not via local wifi to R2 and have been able to use all of his actions.

There are parts of R2 that need improvement:
1. There is no proportional control to be able to steer R2 while in forward or backward motion, very odd? He will either go forward, backward, left, and right only, but not a combination.
2. Why plastic drive wheels instead of rubber treaded wheels? The center wheel is rubber treaded. This would enable quieter operation and provide better traction on hard surfaces.
3. Voice control is very poor? Maybe enlarging the hole if the microphone housing would help? While talking to my daughter on speaker phone, R2 would activate uncontrollably and crash into things repeatedly. Other times he would activate voice control for no reason and go charging off. Only way to stop it is to turn off voice control.
4. Drive motors only have one speed, on or off? He actually moves way too fast and being able to control his speed would really be great.
5. Is there any reason why when R2 is in standby, he starts playing the Princess Leah hologram without being told to?

Anyone else feel the same way?
