Decided it was about time I had a photo of the wiring in the dome for R2D2. Maybe not the best way, but it all connects up.

Third body panel has been joined to the other two. Not sure if this is the way to join the body panels to the framework.

Coming on very nicely. You have the idea on how the body fits the frame, but you've still got a lot of the framework to do first. The legs and bottom sections get attached before the two main body halves. Mark

Middle ring has been added to the lower frame. Couldn't help adding the body panels again, to see how it all looks.

Run out of screws needed to attach the lugs for joining the body panels to the top of the tool box, also the flanged screws I have are too long to attach the other two lugs.
Otherwise things are still going ok.

Managed to get the lugs for joining the panels together added on after using a smaller screwdriver for the flanged screws and pinching two screws from the bottom of one of the feet.
