Hi all, Just joined. I live in the Netherlands and according to Deagostini over here the Millennium Falcon is just a myth, there is no model of the ship and even if there was, Dutch people are not allowed to subscribe to it. After some haggling, I managed to get one in 2 shipments from the UK, and after 2 years I was finished building and modifying her. I added a soundboard, disconnected the engine lights (because why would the sublight engines be on when its landed, right?), the engines are now on a separate switch which also activated a take-off procedure sound effect. On the other side of the engine is another small switch that also actives a lift-off sequence, but that ends in a catastrophical engine-failure LOL. I also added several hidden switches for the bottom white, red and landing-gear lights... moves the battery box towards the rear, had the engine plate removable using magnets so you can access 6 additional 9 volt batteries... actually... I did a lot. some of the mods got broken after a few months due to my trial and error technique... so I am putting this one up for sale in order to buy a new kit and start all over again... anyway, here are some pics and the link to the building diaries https://www.youtube.com/...i7r6hjtYpkK9tqiwvRAVdCe
on the pics you can see the hand-built cargo, the hidden switches and the extra lights I installed. BNT attached the following image(s):

Two years in one hour. I`ll have to watch some more later, as having watched 15 minutes I feel a bit dizzy. Well done on your build and congrats on your "RED" medal for a completed build.
