This was my First attempt at a wooden model kit... I was 14 at the time. Can't remember how I managed to build it..lol..
It was a Billings Bluenose 2 and it had a split hull.. All I remember was it looked good to me..

BigGrin This was my second boat build too [billings bluenose 2] i did many years ago,all i remember is the nightmare in trying to decipher the rigging from the not so helpfull plans, still i managed to finish it and was quite pleased with the results.My 1st boat kit was the billings viking ship replica that was based on an actual ship found somewhere in scandinavia happy times and the rigging was so easy rofl
