Hi all, long time reader, 1st time posting I've been building my Mclaren quite event free up until issue 18, yes even the rear wing went together fairly ok with no dramas! But whilst screwing the lower brace and push rod together my screw head sheared off and broke, leaving me with a useless push rod with a screw stuck in it that I cant get out My question is..... Can i buy the parts only for this, or have i got to spend £7.99 on the whole issue again? Any help would be much appreciated Dean

Pretty sure you will struggle getting spare parts, I'd just go and get the issue again. It's a bummer but it will be the quickest route me thinks.

Replacement parts are supplied with the magazine at the cover price, though you may be able to find what you need on such as eBay at a lesser price.

Lubrication, Lubrication, Lubrication It is a good idea to keep a pot of vaseline (or other suitable substance) by your workbench & just dip the tip of the screw in the jar before use - the screw will go in with much less effort & will be much less likely to strip the head or thread Well spin my nipple-nuts & send me to AlaskaCurrent Builds:McLaren MP4-23Finished007's Aston Martin DB5FinishedMillennium FalconR2-D2BTTF Delorean (Maybe)

I'll keep an eye on ebay then, see what pops up Thanks for the advice on the lube, i'm sure i've got some in the garage! I thought i'd ask too as I did notice on the Japan site the seperate page for parts http://deagostini.jp/select/ser...ion=1&title_code=mclAnd i've read all the backwards and forwards about it being a different franchise with a different amount of issues, I just thought it was a good idea and if anybody knew if DeAG uk was going to follow suite cheers
