Hi Guys,

Thought I would share this one with you. I will post some pics a bit later. But here is a quick description.

It came in 4 boxes and had an option for RC((which I didn't use) - No where to play!!! ) and is a 1/200 scale. I have finished the main hull planking and painted the red below the waterline. I have not painted the rest of hull yet has I have to complete all portholes first.

Pics to follw later. Please feel free to comment I am not has good as some of the people here and always willing to learn more.

Regards
Simon

Here is my first installment of photos. WHile taking them I noticed that I have to tidy up the bow and stern planking! So will do that tomorrow and then give the first deck a couple of coats of varnish and if i have enough time i will also give it the final coat.

Well finally got all the portholes on and had to repaint the red under the waterline because there was some more strips to place which the first box didn't tell me! So much for following instructions!

Now going to repaint the hull tomorrow and paint the portholes yellow to make them shine through.

Will be some more pics by finish of the weekend.

You did not overlook the bilges on the underneath like I did did you...I had these spare strips of wood and wondered where the heck they went??? I felt a right pillock after discovering they were meant to be the bilges that ran along either side of the lower hull...
